WHAT TO DO WHEN THERE IS A CLAIM?

  1. Safety First: Ensure you and others involved are safe
  2. You do not have to argue over who is right or wrong. Rather, take the necessary steps to report the incident to the nearest police station or get in touch with ADVOCATE CLAIMS TEAM on our 24hrs ACT Help lines 09131036089 immediately! You can send a message, call or WhatsApp on this same line. Send pictures of the incident especially on motor claims.
  3. If other vehicle(s) is/are involved in the accident, obtain the names and details of the Driver(s) including but not limited to copies of his/their Vehicle Registration Particulars and Insurance as well as an account of an eyewitness.
  4. Take Photograph: Obtain on the spot photos of the scene of the accident and the damaged portion of the vehicles or other claims.
  5. Loss Minimization: Take reasonable steps to safeguard the motor vehicle or other property from further loss.
  6. Quick Notification: Grace period to lodge the claim with the insurance company is 30days. However, we advise the insured to notify us at AIB immediately the incidence occurs to enable quick settlement. You can notify us through our 24 Hours Telephone Helplines by; Call, WhatsApp Message and by sending emails.
  7. Submit a claim to us with all the relevant documents.
